Thank you everyone  Cheesy

It's not sad at all, it's so easy to get lost in the fog of making "must sell" items and forgetting that most of us just enjoy the creative process. I think it is wonderful that you have allowed yourself this time and I think you are so lucky to have a lovely chap that is as passionate about what you do as you are  Wink

I have only recently told myself that Sundays are not "stock making days" they are development/play days (some work, some don't, eh Sabine  Wink ) just for me and if I end up with a full water jar and an empty kiln then it doesn't matter.

They are all truly stunning pieces Manda and I can't wait to see the finished items  Smiley

Thats it on the head Helen Smiley I honestly think this week has done me more good than a 'proper 'holiday could have , its just been so good to have some chill time ..... although we have been painting the workshop too !!!! David did the funniest thing today Smiley he was giving out instructions as he does to remove everything that i wanted from the workshop as the floor was going to be painted as he backed towards the door and so there would be a point of no return Sad ....
Guess who left their keys on the far side ...workshop, house , van .. yeah right himself!!! Its quite a distance as you know but with the help of two lengths of pipe strapped together with masking tape and a pencil he got them back ! it was SO funny Smiley

beautiful Manda! love the turquoisey ones!

oh dear...hes not so good with keys is he?

and I wonder if this is where I'm going wrong. I try to have some play time and some stock time each session, but the balance has been way off one way or the other lately! today was an odd one, playing with a new tool, but they are BHBs so will be stock. presuming they are not ick coloured.

There's the silver museum ( I think) virtually opposite the assay office... there is a great Chinese restaurant round the basin, you have to go upstairs and it might be really busy but the food is fab! I'll see if I can find it..

Here it is: http://www.tintinchineserestaurant.co.uk/
