listing beads on etsy

Would lampwork beads be listed as a supply or as a finished product in the top section where it comes up who made it what is it and when was it made?

For just lampwork beads, I'd go with supply because you're expecting someone else to make them into a finished product    I think, anyway! I do get very confused with Etsy's categories

under the new system, (which is much easier for listing lampwork beads )

what is it: A supply or tool to make things

category: Glass > Supplies > Bead

because now I can't select supplies > beads > glass.

That's interesting Scarlet, because I do:  Category: Glass > Bead > Lampwork

if its any help at all - when I am searching for lampies I always put in the search bar "handmade lampwork beads"
and if there are too many to go through I add "SRA"

really confusing if there are so many ways to list.

I tag lampwork and handmade with my listings too, but suppose one way of thinking is if someone is going down the supplies route to find beads they will also get a few nice lampies invading the search. (hey if cheapo import ones can invade handmade why not do it the other way round.)
