Can anyone tell me  how to get my shop name i.e.'Dancing with Glass' as a default at the bottom of my photos please.  I know it's some sort of overlay, but my microsoft picture manager doesn't do it.  Grateful for any tips!

you should be able to do it even without layers...
just open the picture and then add text.

you may find it easier to do on picnik (nice and free) that has a load of fancy options but all you really need is to crop and add text.

if you are really stuck you could email me your pics and I can put them together for you.

Freaky, my other half and I were talking about this very subject last night as he has had several of his pictures 'nicked'!

SL I note on your Flickr albums that all pictures are copyrighted, how do you do that?

Lotti it's the license set to them.

if you go into your flickr settings you can set the license which is either

None (All rights reserved) < my settings
   Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike Creative Commons
   Attribution-NonCommercial Creative Commons
   Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs Creative Commons
   Attribution Creative Commons
   Attribution-ShareAlike Creative Commons
   Attribution-NoDerivs Creative Commons

Creative commons is all very well and good but it mostly allows people to use your images non commercial is fine since it allows people to use your image in a blog with credit to you but how many people really give credit where credit is due?
Some of the creative commons allow people to take your image edit it and call it their own. (though all of the flickr ones state attribution to the source is required.)

I go with full copyright because it covers everything. It may not be too much of a worry with photos of beads (since the digital image isn't the artwork itself.) But if I see my images anywhere that I don't want them I have the copyright clause to order a takedown.
I have had background makers liberate my photos before and I do not want my photos used in that way. It took me ages to argue it down with them because they tried to claim because it was linked to me they could do it legally (this was off photobucket, not flickr.) So I privatised my PB and moved to flickr because of that clause.

Thanks, my photos are in PB and I just couldn't find anything in there that does this and your post has answered this.  Best move over to Flickr then.  Thank you for your help. Smiley
