I've just migrated my (fairly new) wordpress blog to a third-party server because it will give me far more SEO opportunities.  This is in line with my grand plan!  Website and Etsy to be ready for selling mid-Feb (I've sold before but never seriously).

Anyway, my poor little http://disdiary.co.uk/ is looking rather sad and lonely, so all followers will be welcomed with (virtual) drink of their choice and nibbles ;-)

Ahh lovely another NB user following you now.

Funny though I'm migrating from my self hosted to wordpress.org some of the community tools make it much easier to direct traffic to your blog.
I also didn't have much fun with self hosted, the shop plugin had a tizzy every update oh and I just decided I couldn't handle all these different places to be.

Good luck with your grand plan.
