Hmmm.......I have a clever idea, but I need some poppy red for it......and I have to admit, I have no idea which boro does something fancy and which doesn't......anybody got any clever idea? Otherwise, I'll have to make it in soft glass again, like the rose.....eeeeeek!

Poppy red under clear, or just poppy red? Under clear I'd say you need something like Elvis over white or over a red crayon.
Just on its own, GA do crayon red, Northstar do one too and I can't remember what they call it. I'm fairly sure there is a Momka one too. If you want to try a bit, let me know - opaque red isn't something I use a lot so could easily spare a bit.
Elvis is a lovely, lovely red but transparent. Your problem may be that boro opaque reds can be a bit boily, so be extra careful when using them.
