We have over 30 entries so far which is fantastic!!! Especially giving the short time frame from the competition being announced, and more arriving tomorrow  Smiley

Even though the competition will be over, we can accept beads for the GBUK collection. So, if you would like to, you can send in a bead at a later date and we can include it when we show the beads at other events.   It would be lovely to make this a yearly event, and build up a fantastic collection of member's work!

Ooh that sounds good, can I bring a bead with me and give it to you at Flame Off then?

Yes you can, but we won't be able to display it at the Flame Off though, as the stand will already have been assembled. Please do bring it though, and label with your details and a description.

I don't think they frequent the forum, I will ensure they're emailed though and warned off the thread, I honestly don't think any of them have been reading this or are even aware of it though so don't fret  Smiley

A general note to everyone - One of the judges Ray Skene (and possibly the others) is on Facebook though, and is 'friends' with many other lampworkers and members of the glass community so I think it would be advisable not to post pictures of your entries on facebook until he's bogged off the Towcester  Grin

I did put something about this on the entry form  Wink

And indeed I did bog off to Towcester all that time ago...  Wink
