diachroic rainbow query

Getting ready to order some diachroic glass. Was interested in making some earrings and pendants etc with the rainbow type but wondered, how do you use it so the arrings look somewhat like the pendant? Does the rainbow pattern alter according to the size you cut, or is there a special place in the pattern where you have to cut for small pieces as opposed to larger ones? Have seen other people selling rainbow earrings, pendants that match with this pattern so there must be a way but not sure what it is.

HI Marie...I'd have to see the particular piece of rainbow that you are thinking of buying to be able to answer that question. I know that Coatings by Sanberg has two rainbow patterns....Rainbow 1 and Rainbow 2.
I would think that as long as the pendant and earings were cut to the same length and from the same area of the sheet of dichro that they would be similar.
