I like it with the ribbons I just think you'd have to cover yourself with a little *note to say ribbons aren't included - inspiration is  Wink

I reckon some people must be that thick, its why people always say "back and front of the same bead" because some people actually probably expect two Grin

Wasn't it Sooz who had a customer asking "What size are these 10mm glass beads, and what are they made of?"

Another buyers view: I agree with nemea that you want clear illustrative photos. So a little bit of dressing is fine. A good compromise would be to have 2 shots - one purely to show the bead as is with no staging except maybe an object that would give an immediate clue to size and a second shot that was dressed artfully. Descriptions are also important and obviously you can explain the photo.

You know how I've been struggling with taking photos of my jewellery - I like the simple approach but it has to be eyecatching in the first instance - not an easy line to walk.

However, a beautiful bead will sell itself. Maybe your backgrounds could be slightly textured to achieve the same nice look without interfering with the 'illustrative' function of the photo?
