Title: Shallow bowl made with frit balls
Post by: Laura S on March 17, 2017, 03:43:41 PM
A customer wants to make a bowl using frit balls (like the one on the Bullseye tip sheet available on the Warm Glass website) but I've never made one before. If anyone has done one do you have any tips? Also does it matter which way up the frit balls are? I suspect and hope not as the tip sheet doesn't specify and it would take for ever. Tanks for any help.

They need to be flat side down.  Tack fuse together, then slump slow and low.  If it's very shallow, you could tack and slump at the same time, I've done it. Best of luck!
